Couture cakes, French macarons, and a gluten-free and vegan program we take as seriously as the buttercream. Baked in-house on Thorn Ave, in small batches, most mornings before the town wakes up.

04 The Specialty

Gluten-free & vegan, for real

Most bakeries treat gluten-free like a side quest: one sad cookie by the register. Not here. Gluten-free is a serious specialty, from whole cakes and tortes down to Oreos and cinnamon rolls, and there are real vegan options alongside them, some of them both. Everything is developed and baked in-house, next to the French classics, and held to the same standard.

05 The Story

A family bakery in Ocean Springs

Sweet Enchantments is a boutique bakery run by the FBH family in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The "by FBH" on the mark is the family behind every bake: small batches, real butter, recipes tested until they're right.

The gluten-free case isn't a menu extra here, and neither are the vegan options beside it. They're the reason a lot of our regulars found us, and they get the same care as the wedding cakes. In 2026, the Sun Herald named us Bronze for Best Bakery in its Best of Coastal Mississippi awards.

You'll find us on Thorn Ave, a few streets off downtown Ocean Springs, with neighbors driving over from Biloxi and Gulfport for cake pickup days.

Q.01 How do I order a custom cake?

Send a request from the Design Your Custom Cake section: pick a flavor and size, add inspiration photos, and tell us the vision. We'll design and quote it, and for weddings and larger custom cakes we'll book a $45 tasting.

Q.02 Do you really do gluten-free and vegan?

Yes. Gluten-free and vegan cakes and cookies are a specialty here, made in-house, not an afterthought. We work in a shared kitchen, so ask us about severe allergies.

Q.03 How much lead time for a cake?

Typically 3 days for menu cakes, and more for custom and wedding cakes. Sample timing, confirmed at order.

Q.04 Do you ship?

No shipping. Pickup is at our Ocean Springs shop at 1056 Thorn Ave. We serve the Ocean Springs, Biloxi, and Gulfport area.
